To the obverse of the throat is stamped "US" within the body of a flaming bomb. Its mouthpiece extends backwards and wraps around a metal wire belt hook. Short, hooked posts are to either side of the mouthpiece opening, which pass through the perforations to the cross guard, that to the left engaging the aforementioned locking button.
